After a 2-month break from the blogging world, you'd think I'd come back with a host of reasons for being silent. I've thought about it. There are some reasons. Then I thought about it again. I don't think you care.
And then I thought - what would be some really good reasons for a 54-day hiatus? That's a list I'd be willing to share. So, here are some of the reasons I wish I could cite for disappearing from the blog world:
- I was on a silence and solitude break, fasting from electronic gadgets.
- I was adding an addition onto our home, including the framing, electrical, plumbing, drywalling and finishing.
- I was away on an 8-week missions serve in a remote village of Tanzania with no web access.
- I was recovering from two broken arms after I dove to save my daughter's dog from an oncoming car.
- I was writing my next book, "Simply Strategic Blogging: Inside the Mind of Tony Morgan"
- I was re-titling my next book, "Inside the Mind of Tony Morgan: Simply Strategic Blogging"
- I was writing posts for the rest of the year. Total - 334.
- I was answering mail about our church not having services on Christmas day.
- I was on a 60-day marathon, playing the new XBOX 360.
- I was doing research and development with my wife for our next weekend series, Pure Sex.
We really are doing a Pure Sex series in February/March. I'm hoping to continue the research without any interruption to my blogging.
