Warren Dunes State Park in southwestern Michigan features rolling dunes of very hot sand (in July) and along at least one creek bed, these ooey-gooey, slimy clay pits. Olivia and her friend enjoyed more than a few slips and slides down a 7 or 8 foot natural slide.
More stuff that's different as Olivia grows.
- She enjoys mud. That's new. And infrequent.
- She's more willing to take risks. The "slide" above was peppered with bruising rocks. She took on the adventure knowingly more than once. By the way,I'm loving the risks... and enjoying watching her "go for it". Besides I'm behind the camera.
- Her mom still does the laundry. Oh, wait. That's not different.
Time. It all takes time.
