This year we changed up our approach to celebrating volunteers. In years past we've decentralized the celebration into ministry department evenings. Or as was the case the past couple years, we hosted a church-wide Friday night event to say "you matter" to the thousands of volunteers who make the ministry at Granger happen.
This year we honored our volunteers in each of the five weekend services. True to form, our team of artists nailed an element that captures the fun, faithfulness and value of our volunteers. Here's the mini-musical our team wrote, choreographed, and rehearsed for hours that brought everyone in every service to a standing ovation.
God is pleased with the hours, effort, talent, gifts and heart of the volunteer servants at Granger Community Church. "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2.10)
